Work experience in different countries
The Syrian Arab Republic, as the lead expert of the selection works for construction site of the projected nuclear power plant. 2002 - Chief Specialist in Seismic Exploration. In 2016, as an expert, participated in the study and management of landslide phenomena in Japan, made a report.

Scientific-research interests
Investigation of the deeper structure of earth’s crust, seismology, engineering geophysics, research of hazardous geological processes (particularly, landslides), assessment of slopes’ stability using the complex geophysical methods, analysis of the issues of hydrogeology and engineering geology, environmental risk assessment during mine operation, water resources management.

Editor-in-chief of YSU Scientific Bulletin (Geology and Geography): He was one of the leaders of the organization of the 50th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in 1965.
In 1967, Moscow State University, organizes a gathering of Armenian intellectuals with Armenian students in Moscow, where M. Grigoryan speaks, and the next day, Armenian students organize a protest outside the Turkish Embassy in Moscow and a rally in the Armenian cemetery in Moscow.
