Short description

Laser radiation induced new orientational and hydrodynamical effects in nanoparticle doped isotropic and anisotropic liquids are being studied. These phenomena may have very important applications for laser beam arrangement, in micro and nano electromechanical systems, biomedical engineering (imaging and ablation), nuclear reactors, spreading of pollutants in the soil and aquifers, separation processes, oil and liquid crystal recovery, liquid crystal display development etc.
