Short description

The main goal of the present project is to study thermodynamics and kinetics of the order -- disorder The main goal of the present project is to study thermodynamics and kinetics of the order - disorder transitions in biopolymers (nucleic acids and proteins). The influence of the sequence heterogeneity, polymer flexibility, loop entropy, and some other factors on the thermodynamics and kinetics of biopolymers will be investigated. The methods of statistical thermodynamics and statistical mechanics will be used for analytical and numerical computations in the frameworks of project.
