ARMENIAN-POLISH SCIENTIFIC TIES STRENGTHEN

On July 12-15 and international conference, devoted to the problems of post-Soviet countries, will be held in the Polish capital Warsaw.
The conference under the heading Post-Soviet countries during the last 20 years will be attended by dozens of specialists from different countries. The Armenian delegation will consist of 4 members, more specifically, representatives of YSU: Alexander Safaryan, David Hovhannisyan, Nune Dilanyan and Arthur Ghazinyan.
The particular features of the development of post-Soviet countries and the corresponding directions will be focused on during the conference. To discover the problem more comprehensively the conference participants present the topics in political, economic, cultural, legal and other aspects.
After the conference a book will be published with short versions of all reports. But YSU specialists visit is not limited only by this conference. On July 14 the Armenian-Polish seminar will be held at the Warsaw University. The main purpose of the upcoming seminar is not only to focus on certain problems but to consolidate the ties between our universities.
We hope that in case everything is completed successfully we can organize a similar seminar in Armenia and invite specialists from Poland. Our universities have launched the cooperation long time ago, while, in this way, the relations become stronger, - says Warsaw University Caucasian Bureau representative Konrad Siekierski.
