EURASIANISM ON THE EXAMPLE OF KAZAKHSTAN

Armenia and Kazakhstan are more than just friendly countries.
Today, a conference, headed Eurasianism: System of Values or the Way of Development? (on the Kazakh example), was held at YSU Hall after Paleans.
The meeting was initiated by the International Cooperation Office of YSU, Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the European Integration NGO.
The meeting was attended by YSU Vice-rector on Students, Alumni and Public Affairs Ruben Markosyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Armenia Ayimdos Bozzhigitov, Head of YSU International Cooperation Office Alexander Markarov, Head of Chair of Sociology of YSU Faculty of Sociology Arthur Atanesyan, Head of Chair of Turkic Studies of YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies Alexander Safaryan, Chairman of the NGO European Integration Karen Bekaryan, lecturers and students from various faculties.
Ambassador Ayimdos Bozzhigitov, in his opening speech, welcomed those present and thanked the management of Alma Mater for holding the conference on the academic level.
The friendship between Armenian and Kazakh peoples has a rich history. The two countries cooperation extends to almost all fields - economic, political and cultural. Quite a large number of Armenians live in Kazakhstan, who have great contribution to the development of our state, - said Mr. Ambassador.
The guests were also welcomed by Ruben Markosyan, who highlighted the cooperation not only on state, but also the educational and academic levels.
Advisor to the Ambassador Almat Teokin, 2nd adviser to the Ambassador Zhenis Umbetov, Arthur Atanesyan and Alexander Markarov made reports on the European economic space and the main ideas and historical data of the union.
After the speeches, an active discussion started between the speakers and participants.
