The exchange programs are in the area of YSU activities. Both YSU students visit foreign IHE and scientific-educational institutions and their foreign colleagues come to study in YSU.

The Student Exchange Program was realized in cooperation with universities of Geneva, California, Arizona. Students of University of Arizona CLI (Critical Language Institute) were trained at YSU not only within the academic year, but also during summer language practice. Students have also taken practice in Armenian Studies.
Training and various courses were organized for 31 students from Fresno University and Glendale College AT YSU in summer.

The exchange program with University of Connecticut is expected for 2007/2008 academic year. Within the framework of this cooperation visit of YSU students and lectures by YSU specialists in the field of Armenian Studies is planned. In future it is planned to organize joint summer courses for students of University of Connecticut in the area of specialty "archeology".

The exchange programs with Egypt and Syria are also currently available.
Training in Greece, Bulgaria, Russian Federation and Arab Republic of Egypt was organized for students.
