Foreign Relations Coordinator

The SSS Foreign Relations Committee (FRC) was founded in accordance with the decision of the SSS Academic council on March 6th, 2009. The committee is aimed at making ties both with Armenian and foreign universities, facilitating the cooperation between them and YSU undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students and young researchers. 



Foreign Relations Coordinator



Edik Harutyunyan was born on June 30, 1994, in Yerevan. From 2001 to 2012, Edik attended school number 80 after V. Vagharshyan.

From 2012 to 2014, he served in the Armenian military. In 2014-2018, he studied at the YSU Faculty of International Relations (Political Science) from which he graduated with honours.

Edik’s scope of scientific interests mainly includes the modern stage of the social-political history of Balkan nations, specifically the Second Balkan War, the Third Balkan war, the collapse of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the following democratization processes in the region.

In February 2016, Edik was elected to the post of the secretary of the SSS of the Faculty of International Relations and in November 2016, he became the chairman of the faculty SSS. In May 2018, Edik was elected to the post of the foreign relations coordinator of YSU SSS.

Edik has one published scientific article.
