All of the employees of YSU in May-July of this year must undergo mandatory medical examination by a physician (fluorography and therapist).

This order (# 83§1 after 10.05.2017) was signed by YSU Rector Aram Simonyan, based on the requirements of the Article 249 of the RA Labor Code and the decision of the RA Government # 347-N after March 27, 2003. The examination includes therapeutic and anti-tuberculosis tests.

YSU Trade Union Chairman Armen Avetisyan said that the process includes the organizational work, in particular the creation of the database of the employees, which is prepared by YSU Trade Union. Then the employees will be informed about the dates of the medical examination.

“I would like to inform all employees that according to the law in case of refusal or evasion the employer has the right to terminate the labor contract. So, I call on everybody to undergo a compulsory medical examination within the stipulated time,” - said Armen Avetisyan.

Employees do not have any financial obligations, compulsory medical examination will be carried out through “Rosgosstrakh Armenia” insurance company at the Polyclinic #4. The clinic is also not accidental. It is very close to the university.

The employee should show the card of his medical insurance to undergo the examination.

Armen Avetisyan said all employees should have personal sanitary books, as in previous years they have undergone already mandatory medical examination, but in case of lost YSU TU will allocate on its resources the new ones so that employees are not forced to spend extra money.
