At the initiative of YSU Russian Center a group of our students visited Gavar State University. It is the first visit in this format. The goal is to involve GSU students in the activities, directed to the presentation of details on this glorious victory in Gavar schools.
YSU students presented to their colleagues abstracts from the works on World War Two.
Then students watched the film Alexander Junior, which tells us about the orphans, who were concentrated in one camp after the war. The relations between Russian and German children once again make a stress on the universal values and the importance of human relations.
YSU Russian Center Director Arusyak Nersesyan says that such initiatives (movie watching and discussions) first of all help our students to improve their skills in Russian, as well as have got great contribution in the process of military-patriotic education. We make a stress on the cooperation with regional institutions, too. It is great GSU provides students with the opportunity to study at the Department of Russian Language. So, it becomes easier to organize discussions, -said Arusyak Nersesyan.
YSU Faculty of Russian Philology Students Council and Student Scientific Society chairmen made an arrangement with GSU students on cooperation in future.
YSU students gave GSU students and lecturers symbolic Ribbon of Saint George in memory of the meeting.
