Daughter of the perished freedom fighter Avetis Baghdasaryan was really glad and inspired when she saw that the representatives of the Student Council of YSU had visited her Last Bell.
We will tell you right from the start about how members of the Student Council of YSU appeared in high school in the village of Armavir Marz Hatsik. Tenth form pupil Astghik Baghdasaryan had heard for many times from her girlfriend, a student of Yerevan State University, about the University Student Council and, as she says, was dreaming of spending the Last Bell with Alma Mater students.
The request reached the destination. SC members, of course, did not refuse. And this morning, several members of the Student Council moved to high school of Hatsik.
This year the school has 30 graduates (2 graduate classes), who, in their turn, presented to the public and visitors songs, dances, humor, farewell... and festive mood.
We are very happy to see You here. I am sure that some of these guys will look forward to the day when they become students, members of the Student Council, - said the School Director Hamlet Mkrtchyan.
The truth of his words is confirmed by the fact that 9 of 30 graduates this year are going to enter state HEI, while another large group - private HEI. Despite the fact that the conditions of the school building, which has 350 scholars, quite good, however, the heating issue has not been resolved yet.
Chairman of the Student Council of YSU Tsolak Akopyan, congratulated the graduates on behalf of all YSU students and said: It is doubly great that this all happens in a school named after freedom fighter. Some of the heroes of Artsakh War were YSU students, which is also a cause for pride for us.
We know: our countrymen fought from the first day of the war till the last. On the occasion of 55th anniversary of Avetis Baghdasaryan his brothers in arms visited this place. You cannot imagine how attentively they listened to the commander in the hall, telling about Avetis. Most of them were high school pupils, - says Mr. Mkrtchyan.
YSU students, of course, came to congratulate the graduates not empty-handed. On behalf of the Student Council of Yerevan State University they were presented with souvenirs: the school board - in the form of cross-stone, and Astghik - in the form of the painting of the United Armenia. The other graduates tasted cake.
