Director of YSU Cultural Centre Karine Davtyan welcomed everyone and said that this film is based on various recordings, video recordings and memories of people. This is a definitely different approach to this outstanding personality.
“Mher Mkrtchyan’s characters were quite natural. It is difficult to distinguish Fruzik on stage and in life, but today we will see a very different thing that was left beyond the scene, we will see the man we used to know,” - said Karine Davtyan.
Although two intellectuals were included in the film crew - Shushanik Sahakyan and Hovhannes Papikyan, only Shushanik Sahakyan attended the screening.
“When we had initiated the creation of this film, the idea immediately received great response. People representing completely different areas announced about their support. Some of them had records or some notes, memories associated with Frunzik. We were constantly replenishing our scenario, and we have 12 different edited versions of the film. Today we will show the full version,” - said the film director Shushanik Sahakyan.
The meeting was also attended by the representative of National Cinema Centre of Armenia Ashot Hambardzumyan, who noted he is one of the few who were lucky enough to work with the great actor.
After the screening of the film an active and interesting discussion started between our guests and students.
The film was made by the own means of the authors and supported by the RA Ministry of Culture and National Cinema Centre of Armenia.
