NEW STAGE OF COOPERATION
The coming cooperation is going to be quadrilateral.

Presentation of the guide on training program Integrity in the civil service system, developed and implemented by the Union of Armenian Government Employees NGO, took place at the University Academic Council Hall today.

The program was developed and implemented in joint cooperation with Civil Service Council of Armenia (RA CSC), with the assistance of the OSCE Office in Yerevan. Yerevan State University has directly participated in the project implementation and development.

Reforms in the sphere of Civil service have got their direct influence not only on the relations between civil servants, increasing of the efficiency of their work, but also play a significant role in the formation of civil society, - said Vice-rector of Yerevan State University on Academic Affairs Alexander Grigoryan.

After welcoming speeches RA CSC, UAGE NGO, Yerevan State University and the OSCE Office in Yerevan signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the framework of the project Integrity in the civil service system.

During the second part of the event participants got an opportunity to get acquainted with the project in details, which previously had been experimentally carried out among a group of civil servants. Dean of the Faculty of Sociology of Yerevan State University Arthur Mkrtichyan, who was the sociologist-analyst of the project, presented results of the research, carried out among the civil servants, who had participated in the program.

Head of the CSC Scientific and Educational Department Gegham Sargsyan focused on the training issues in the RA CSC system. The latter answered to the questions of those present.

Gevorg Danielyan, Acting Head of YSU Chair of Theory and History of State and Law, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Armenia spoke about the process of forming YSU Board of Trustees, stating that it is a representative body and in order to have the right to act it is necessary to ensure election or appointment of all members.
