ABOUT GENOCIDE - IN A NEW WAY
ABOUT GENOCIDE - IN A NEW WAY
"Our youth is proud of being Armenian".

This is Rafael Haroutyunyans opinion about our modern youth. This man is a specialist in the area of informational technologies. During the meeting with the students of the Faculty of Journalism of YSU he showed a VCD headed Genocide, Armenocide, Holocaust.

Today is the age of digital technologies, and, to my mind, all the existing information must be digitalized. I have included all my researches in the area of Armenology in this CD, - said Rafael Haroutyunyan.

Any student who wants to make research on the History of Armenia and other areas of the Armenology has to spend months in the archives. And this CD lets him/her learn all the material in 10 hours.

The compact discs are two. In 2002 the first one was presented. The second one includes additional articles, photos and videos. The author has also researched the Jewish Genocide.

For many years Rafael Haroutyunyan used to be the only publisher of the journal Science and Technique. The April issue of 1975 was dedicated to the Armenian History, Armenian Diaspora, Armenian culture and Armenian Genocide.

On the very day of the publishing I came to the editorial office and found the open bookcases, the originals were confiscated and all the articles which had to be published were under arrest, - says the author. -That day I swore that each year the April volume would be dedicated to the Armenology.
