STUDENTS OF CAMBRIDGE AND EDINBURGH UNIVERSITIES CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATION AT YSU The Chair of Iranian Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of YSU organizes a course, within the framework of which four students from Cambridge and Edinburgh universities will strengthen their knowledge of Iranian studies and the Persian language in one semester.

DISCOVERING UNIVERSITY. KATERINA ALTUNYAN Katerina Altunyan is a young YSU lecturer with almost 10 years of teaching experience. She lectures not only at the Faculty of International Relations of YSU, but also at private universities, and gives lectures at informal courses.

From the 11th until 13th of November Yerevan State University students participated in a school program on the subject of “Refugees’ Rights” organized by the Office of UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Armenia (UNHCR) and “Mission Armenia” NGO gaining new knowledge within the framework of these classes.

REFORMS DIRECTED TO THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE EDUCATION QUALITY CONTINUE AT THE YSU FACULTY OF JOURNALISM In various faculties of YSU, reforms are continuously implemented to improve the quality of education, strengthen students' practical skills, and many other directions. This year, a new modern format of education organization called "Practicum" was introduced in the Faculty of Journalism, and an experimental TV station was also founded.
YSU PROFESSOR IS ON THE EDITORIAL BOARD OF THE BOOK PUBLISHED BY THE AMERICAN "CRC PRESS" One of the world's leading scientific-technological and medical publishing houses, "CRC Press", recently published a book named "Fungal Biotechnology. Perspectives and directions" under the joint editorship of Professor Susanna Badalyan, Ph.D., head of the "Fungus Biology and Biotechnology" Laboratory of YSU Biology Research Institute and her international colleagues.
