Faculty of Geography and Geology
About Faculty
In 1932, the YSU Geographical and Geological Faculties functioned as part of the Faculty of History and Economics, and then, from 1934 to 2008, functioned as separate faculties. In 2008 the faculty of Geography and Geology was formed based on the union of the latter.
The faculty operates a three-level system of full-time and part-time education: Undergraduate, Master's, and Postgraduate.
The faculty cooperates with leading scientific and educational institutions abroad, including the universities of Germany, Russia, France, the Czech Republic, and Kazakhstan. Thanks to the extensive local and international cooperation, the students of the faculty are given the opportunity to be employed right from their years of study.
