The objective of the Student Conference is to familiarize students from Armenia and abroad (including undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, postdoctoral students, and early-career researchers) with modern, highly significant results in one of the fundamental areas of complex analysis — the Geometric Theory of Functions. It is not necessary for a participant to be an expert in the area, but rather to be interested in jointly learning the subject.

The Faculty of International Relations of Yerevan State University organizes its third annual conference on politics and international affairs. The 2026 conference is titled “Reimagining International Order: The New Architecture of Global Governance beyond Hegemony.” The conference aims to bring together scholars specializing in international studies. It will serve as a venue for academic discussions and a meeting point for scholars to present their current research, discover common academic interests, and discuss ideas for potential joint research projects․

On September 24–26, 2026, an international conference titled "Contested Pasts, Uncertain Future(s): Heritage, Memory, and History" will be held in Yerevan on the initiative of the Laboratory of Philosophy and Theory of History. The conference will bring together philosophers, historians, anthropologists, archaeologists, and researchers working on issues of heritage and memory. This scholarly event will serve as a platform for the development of critical thinking and professional dialogue, offering an opportunity to present and discuss how the past is interpreted, preserved, and contested across different disciplines and societies.

On October 8–9, 2026, an international scientific and practical conference titled "Russian Studies in the Contemporary World" will be held at the initiative of the Faculty of Russian Philology at Yerevan State University, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the faculty.

The “National and Global Dimensions of History: The Armenian Experience” research team at Yerevan State University organizes an academic conference entitled “Identity Crises and Strategies of Renewal: Global and Local Experiences (From Hellenism to Early Modernity)”, that will be held on February 20, 2027, at the Faculty of History of Yerevan State University, Armenia.

PoSoCoMeS (Post-Soviet and Comparative Memory Studies) Working Group 2026 of the International Memory Studies Association will organize its Third Annual Conference, with the theme “Post-Soviet Memory in Times of Crises and Speculations.” The conference will be held in Armenia on January 22-24. The event will be hosted by Yerevan State University.

The Faculty of History of Yerevan State University is organizing an international conference on the topic “Theoretical and Methodological Issues of Teaching History” in December 2025. The conference is funded by Yerevan State University and the “Pan-Armenian Foundation for the Funding of Armenian Studies.”

From December 8 to 10, 2025, in YSU Academic Council Session Hall, an international conference titled "Genocide: Memory, Recognition, Prevention" will be held under the initiative of the Institute for Armenian Studies and the Center for Human Rights and Genocide Studies NGO.
