On October 8–9, 2026, an international scientific and practical conference titled "Russian Studies in the Contemporary World" will be held at the initiative of the Faculty of Russian Philology at Yerevan State University, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the faculty.
The conference will cover the following topics:
History and Contemporary Relevance
Current Issues in Literary Theory
Theoretical and Practical Issues in Russian Linguistics
Comparative and Typological Description
Active Processes in Contemporary Russian
Current Issues in Intercultural Communication and Pragmatics
Current Challenges in Translation
Russian as a Foreign Language: Traditions and Innovations
Conference Format: Hybrid (in-person and online)
Working Languages: Russian and Armenian

Submit the full paper by March 31, 2026 to: rusphilconf@ysu.am
Important: The file containing the paper must be renamed with the participant's surname in Latin script.

An electronic proceedings volume will be prepared prior to the start of the conference.
Costs: All expenses related to participation (travel, accommodation) are the responsibility of the participants or their sponsoring institutions.
