On September 24–26, 2026, an international conference titled "Contested Pasts, Uncertain Future(s): Heritage, Memory, and History" will be held in Yerevan on the initiative of the Laboratory of Philosophy and Theory of History. The conference will bring together philosophers, historians, anthropologists, archaeologists, and researchers working on issues of heritage and memory. This scholarly event will serve as a platform for the development of critical thinking and professional dialogue, offering an opportunity to present and discuss how the past is interpreted, preserved, and contested across different disciplines and societies.

The Faculty of International Relations of Yerevan State University organizes its third annual conference on politics and international affairs. The 2026 conference is titled “Reimagining International Order: The New Architecture of Global Governance beyond Hegemony.” The conference aims to bring together scholars specializing in international studies. It will serve as a venue for academic discussions and a meeting point for scholars to present their current research, discover common academic interests, and discuss ideas for potential joint research projects․

The XII International Conferences on Mathematical Physics have traditionally been organized by the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. The first conference was held in 1982, and the latest one took place in 2019 in Yerevan. Among the participants of previous conferences were many well-known scientists, such as Sergio Albeverio, Roland L. Dobrushin, Gianfausto Dell'Antonio, Vadim A. Malyshev, Robert A. Minlos, Salvador Miracle-Sole, Alexander Polyakov, Yakov G. Sinai, Anatoly Vershik and others.

On August 26–28 of this year, YSU will host the international workshop titled “Pre-Modern Islamic Approaches to the Concept of Dīn (“Religion”)”, within the framework of which examines the premodern notion of dīn and its uses within different epistemic traditions of the past. It explores how dīn was conceptualized, objectified, and defined in relation to various socio-political, theological, legal, philosophical, and literary contexts. The central question the workshop seeks to engage concerns the properties of dīn, as examined closely in a range of premodern Arabic texts and the epistemic environments in which they emerged. Key themes of the workshop include—but are not limited to—the examination of the dīn–dunyā pairing; the relationship between “religion” and governance (siyāsa, tadbīr), and “religion” and law; “religion” and knowledge; the functionalization of “religion” within imperial and social orders; its operation in private ethical and communal spheres; its role in the construction of alterity (“otherness”), and other related topics.

The Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of Yerevan State University is organizing the Summer School on Statistics and Learning Theory – 2026, which will be held on July 12 – 19, 2026. The program is tailored for senior undergraduate, master's and PhD students, researchers, as well as industry people interested in statistics, machine learning and their applications.

The objective of the Student Conference is to familiarize students from Armenia and abroad (including undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, postdoctoral students, and early-career researchers) with modern, highly significant results in one of the fundamental areas of complex analysis — the Geometric Theory of Functions. It is not necessary for a participant to be an expert in the area, but rather to be interested in jointly learning the subject.

From June 29 to July 3, 2026, the Summer Workshop on Molecular Modeling and Computational Chemistry will be held on the initiative of the Faculty of Chemistry.

From May 21–25, the annual scientific event "Annual Review Conference 2026" will take place. The primary objective of the conference is to summarize the activities of YSU scientific divisions and provide leading scientists and researchers in the field with the opportunity to present their research results, areas of activity, and future visions.
