On October 8–9, 2026, an international scientific and practical conference titled "Russian Studies in the Contemporary World" will be held at the initiative of the Faculty of Russian Philology at Yerevan State University, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the faculty.

An international conference titled "Media Text, Semiotics, and AI: In Search of New Meaning" will be held on October 15–17, initiated by the Faculty of Journalism of Yerevan State University and the Armenian Association for Semiotic Studies.

The “National and Global Dimensions of History: The Armenian Experience” research team at Yerevan State University organizes an academic conference entitled “Identity Crises and Strategies of Renewal: Global and Local Experiences (From Hellenism to Early Modernity)”, that will be held on February 20, 2027, at the Faculty of History of Yerevan State University, Armenia.

From May 21–25, the annual scientific event "Annual Review Conference 2026" will take place. The primary objective of the conference is to summarize the activities of YSU scientific divisions and provide leading scientists and researchers in the field with the opportunity to present their research results, areas of activity, and future visions.

Initiated by Yerevan State University, the YSU Applied Sociology Research Laboratory, and the Armenian Association of Social Workers, a nationwide conference titled "The Ecosystem of Social Work in Armenia" will be held from March 27-29. The objective of the conference is to provide an academic platform to discuss cooperation formats among social work stakeholders, social reforms, social issues that have not received sufficient response, the evaluation of social service effectiveness, and the development prospects of the sector.

On March 19–20, 2026, the Annual Conference of the Research Institute of Biology will be held.

PoSoCoMeS (Post-Soviet and Comparative Memory Studies) Working Group 2026 of the International Memory Studies Association will organize its Third Annual Conference, with the theme “Post-Soviet Memory in Times of Crises and Speculations.” The conference will be held in Armenia on January 22-24. The event will be hosted by Yerevan State University.
