From September 28–30, 2026, ahead of COP 17 to the Convention on Biological Diversity, the 2nd Eastern European Bat Research Conference (EEBRC) will take place in Yerevan, Armenia. 

The international conference is organized by leading Armenian bat researchers and conservation practitioners in collaboration with regional and international partners. It will serve as a platform for scientific exchange and collaboration on bat ecology and conservation across Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and neighboring regions.
