On May 16, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (NAS RA) will host the seminar series "Science Today" with the topic "From Earth to Mars: The Contribution of Scientists" at the NAS RA main hall.
The seminar, organized to popularize science among the youth, will feature the following speakers:
Arsen Arakelyan (Director of the Institute of Molecular Biology, NAS RA, Director of the Institute of Biomedicine and Pharmacy of Russian-Armenian University)
Hayk Aslanyan (Director of the Armenian Space Forum Foundation, Co-leader of the "AMADEE-24" Mission)
Areg Mikayelyan (Director of the Astrophysical Observatory named after V. Hambardzumyan, NAS RA)
The seminar will present the prospective research on space exploration, as well as the results of recent scientific studies.
Participants actively engaged in the seminar will receive participation certificates in December 2025.
