Freedom House Romania, with support from the German Marshall Fund's Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation, is accepting applications for "The Black Sea Desk: Writing the Region into Europe," a six-month online editorial program.
The program is designed for students and emerging writers from Armenia, Georgia and Romania studying political science, international relations, journalism and related fields.
Program participants will:
take part in weekly editorial discussions;
write and publish analytical articles in international media outlets;
attend a workshop and networking event in Yerevan at the end of the program;
receive a €250 completion bonus upon successful completion of the program.
Main eligibility requirements:
interest in the Black Sea region, European Union integration and regional security;
good command of English: all program meetings, discussions and work will be conducted in English.
