2026 World Scientific Francophonie Week
The 6th edition of World Scientific Francophonie Week (SMFS) will take place in Agadir, Morocco, from October 12 to 15, 2026. The program will include the 6th Scientific Francophonie Conference, the 6th Ministerial Conference, the 4th Youth Congress and the Cooperation Program.

5th Francophone Scientific Research Symposium in Central and Eastern Europe (SRSF-ECO 2026) will take place during the last week of November 2026 at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE).
The event aims to foster interdisciplinary exchange and research collaboration and to showcase scholarly work.
The abstract submission deadline is September 21, 2026.

"My Thesis in 180 Seconds" (MT180) competition gives participants the opportunity to present their research topic in French in just 180 seconds, using a single slide, before an expert jury and a non-specialist audience. The competition provides a platform to raise the profile of their research, develop science communication skills and represent their university internationally. The regional final will be held online on October 6, 2026.

2027 Hague Inter-University Debate Competition
The Hague Inter-University Debate Competition, organized by the Corax Foundation, will be held for the sixth time in 2027. This year's theme is "Gastronomy in Countries of Francophonie". The competition is open to students from around the world.
The registration deadline is December 15, 2026.

Distance-learning programs are intended for French-speaking students and include various forms of support, including virtual mobility support for high-achieving candidates or those with limited financial means, individual guidance throughout their studies and free access to AUF centers.
