Main Responsibilities

Manage and lead Branch Network with a strong focus on business growth, efficiency, productivity and PBT contribution. Maintain the Bank's leading position as a unique and most recommended WPB service provider through delivery of tailored products and propositions through Branch network
Lead the largest team in WPB to realize its potential to highest extent, manage and control staff recruitment, training and development processes, chair Network performance management and remuneration decisions based on meritocracy and fairness of recognition/reward
Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure maintaining highest standards of conduct
As a Risk Owner continuously reassess the risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, ensures implementation of strong operational and financial risk management frameworks, establish, and maintain a robust and effective control environment across all activities and journeys, adhering with Local regulatory and HSBC Group compliance policies, requirements, and standards
As a core member of the WPB leadership team, represents and effectively contributes to a broad range of business committees and forums, engaging senior leadership at HSBC Bank Armenia and regional level. Maximize the efficiency and productivity through regular review of people, technology, and operational aspects of processes

Required Qualifications

University degree as a minimum, with business related qualifications such as Economics, Banking, Financial Services, Business/Business administration or equivalent
At least 5 years of proven experience in Banking/Finance or relevant industries, of which: at least 2 years at a Leadership/People management role, and at least 2 years’ experience of stakeholder management experience
Strong track record at a senior level in risk and control management
Strategic and critical thinking capabilities and skills which are based on market understanding, customer insight identification and data analysis
Genuine and in-depth knowledge and understanding about financial market and economy, banking system and trends.
Familiarity with banking industry’s rules and regulations
General understanding of Financial and Non-Financial Risk management
Capable to link, align and embed Business strategy with entity strategic priorities
Ability to balance multiple competing demands to find the best solutions and options for the business
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, ability to work in a diverse environment with good interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
High energy individual with particular emphasis on inspiring, motivating and driving others to ensure delivery of objectives in timely, efficient, and effective manner
Advanced in Armenian and English and at least Intermediate in Russian
International degrees, qualifications such as ACCA, CFA and PHD in relevant area will be an advantage
