At the initiative of the YSU Alumni and Career Center, and within the framework of cooperation with the Technological Education Foundation and the Hovnanian Foundation, Yerevan State University hosted a representative of Meettal—the first company in Armenia to provide technical recruitment services. The goal of the visit was to introduce students to the specific features of the human resources management sector.
Anna Hovhannisyan, HR specialist at Meettal, delivered a training session for students, presenting the key issues and challenges within the field, as well as possible approaches to addressing them. Following the training, a discussion titled "Breaking Bias in Recruitment" was held, which will further help students organize unbiased recruitments in the future.
Within the framework of the session, students had the opportunity to ask the instructor questions of interest and received comprehensive answers.
