From December 8 to 10, 2025, in YSU Academic Council Session Hall, an international conference titled "Genocide: Memory, Recognition, Prevention" will be held under the initiative of the Institute for Armenian Studies and the Center for Human Rights and Genocide Studies NGO.

The conference will bring together over 40 leading experts, scholars, and specialists from more than 10 countries.

Its purpose is to foster dialogue, exchange best practices, and develop innovative strategies aimed at combating genocide and mass atrocities.

The working languages of the conference will be Armenian and English.
