Workshop at YSU: "The role of women in higher education and science"

On October 14, 2025, at 14:30 a.m., Yerevan State University will host a workshop titled "The role of women in higher education and science". The event is organized under the APPEAR Academic Project 373“Biodiversity Assessment and DNA Barcoding of Mycorrhizal and Xylotrophic Fungi in Forested Regions of Armenia”, through the joint efforts of the Chair of Botany and Mycology at YSU Faculty of Biology and the Department of Botany and Biodiversity Research of the University of Vienna.
The Workshop will increase recognition of the challenges women face, such as unequal opportunities, stereotypes, and career–life balance barriers.
