"Tandis" Theater Group to Stage the Play "Khosrow"
The performance is based on Nizami Ganjavi's poem "Khosrow and Shirin". It is a story about love, memory, and the mosaic of the human inner world. The legendary King Khosrow, upon hearing the story of Shahrazad and her captivity, briefly believes that Shahryar—Shahrazad's ruler—is the son of himself and Shirin. This illusion transports him into the past, where memories of his love, loyalty, and pain come vividly to life.
Notably, the performance is bilingual, featuring both Iranian and Armenian actors.
