International Two-Day Conference at YSU: "Genocide: Memory, Recognition, Prevention"

From December 8 to 9, 2025, in the YSU Academic Council Session Hall, an international conference titled "Genocide: Memory, Recognition, Prevention" will be held under the initiative of the Institute for Armenian Studies and the Center for Human Rights and Genocide Studies NGO. 

The official opening ceremony of the conference will take place on December 8, 2025, at 09:30 a.m. 

The conference schedule is as follows:

• December 8, 2025: 1:00–6:30 p.m.

• December 9, 2025: 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

The conference will bring together over 50 leading experts, scholars, and professionals from Germany, France, Rwanda, Burundi, the United States, Israel, Russia, Sweden, Australia, and Argentina.
