On April 22, a diploma award ceremony for graduates of the "Education Management" and "Teacher Leadership" master's programs (part-time study mode) was held at the YSU Pedagogy and Education Development Center.
The event brought together the center's academic staff, students, graduates, and other guests.
In her welcoming remarks, the center's Director, Professor Nazik Harutyunyan, congratulated the graduates of the "Education Management" and "Teacher Leadership" master's programs and wished them continued success. She emphasized the significant role and importance of these educational programs in preparing specialists who meet the demands of the modern education system.
Professor Harutyunyan also highlighted the ongoing and effective cooperation between Yerevan State University and the Teach for Armenia Foundation.
She expressed confidence that, through the knowledge they have acquired, the professional skills they have developed, and their managerial and pedagogical training, the graduates will successfully continue their professional careers and make a meaningful contribution to the development and modernization of Armenia's education system.
Speeches were also delivered by L. Hayrapetyan, Head of the "Teacher Leadership" educational program, and Anna Khachyan, Program Manager at the Teach for Armenia Foundation. They highly praised the quality of the educational programs, the preparedness of the students, and the consistent efforts of the Pedagogy and Education Development Center in training future teacher-leaders and education managers.
Student Armenuhi Abrahamyan from the "Teacher Leadership" program and student Anna Aghajanyan from the "Education Management" program emphasized the importance of the high-quality knowledge and valuable experience gained throughout their studies. The students noted that the education they received served not only as a source of theoretical knowledge, but also as a means of developing a new professional mindset, which they described as a key factor for their future careers. They also expressed special gratitude to the academic staff for their dedicated work and continuous support.
The speeches were followed by the formal diploma award ceremony.
At the conclusion of the event, a video prepared by the graduates of the "Teacher Leadership" educational program was screened, highlighting the course of their studies, memorable moments, and achievements.
