Interfaculty table tennis and basketball competitions were held through a joint initiative of the YSU Chair of Physical Education and Sports and the Student Council. Students from 14 faculties took part in the tournaments.
In the men's table tennis competition, the team of the Faculty of Informatics and Applied Mathematics took first place, the Institute of Physics secured second place, and the Faculty of Chemistry placed third.
In the women's competition, first place was awarded to the Faculty of Oriental Studies team, second place to the Faculty of Geography and Geology, and third place to the Faculty of Economics and Management.
In the intense basketball tournament, first place went to the Faculty of Informatics and Applied Mathematics, second place to the Faculty of Oriental Studies, and third place to the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics.
