In recognition of her many years of exemplary service at Yerevan State University, her significant contribution to the training of young specialists, her dedication, and on the occasion of her 70th anniversary, Professor Shushanik Paronyan, Doctor of Philological Sciences, founder and head of the English Chair of Cross-Cultural Communication at the YSU Faculty of European Languages and Communication, was awarded a certificate of appreciation by YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan. The award was ceremoniously presented to her by Acting Dean of the Faculty Marine Yaghubyan.
Professor Shushanik Paronyan's professional activity has been highly important for advancing the field and academic development. Thanks to her dedication, scholarly insight, and leadership, the chair, founded in September 2012, has become a significant educational and research platform that advances cross-cultural communication and expands international cooperation.
Under Professor Paronyan's leadership, numerous educational and research projects have been implemented, and many conferences, seminars, and professional discussions have been organized, bringing together leading specialists in the field and young researchers. Her work has greatly contributed to the development of students' professional competencies and the dissemination of contemporary academic approaches.
Recently, Professor Shushanik Paronyan's 70th birthday anniversary was warmly celebrated. On this occasion, during a session of the Academic Council of the Faculty of European Languages and Communication, Acting Dean Marine Yaghubyan, while presenting the certificate of appreciation, highly commended the professor's many years of productive work, academic dedication, and significant contribution to the development of the university and the faculty.
