The official closing of the YSU Alumni Forum was marked by an awards ceremony.
During the final stage of the event, alumni who had made significant contributions to the development of the university, the strengthening of the community, and the enhancement of alumni–university relations were recognized for their contributions.
Among the awardees was Gevorg Sahakyan, a graduate of the YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies and a lecturer at the university. His active engagement and sustained efforts were highly valued by the university community, serving as a strong example of continuous collaboration between the faculty and the broader university.
The formal awards ceremony concluded a full day dedicated to cooperation, experience-sharing, and the exchange of new ideas. It once again highlighted the importance of dedicated work in education and science, while also emphasizing the role of university lecturers in shaping and strengthening the internal academic environment.
