Within the framework of the PSY-EXPO 26 event, the official ceremony of the E. G. Edilyan Award took place, during which the committee approved two experimental research projects.
The program was initiated by the Chair of General Psychology at the YSU Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology, in cooperation with the Armenian Behavioral Science Association (ABSA) and the Armenian chapter of the international Psi Chi organization. It aimed to promote the development and implementation of empirical (experimental) research among students and young scientists.
The award-winning projects were: the study by fourth-year Psychology student M. Manukeyan titled "The Role of Stress Resilience Traits in the Social Adaptation Process of Persons Displaced from Artsakh," and the research project by senior laboratory assistant A. Amirjanyan of the Psychological Research Center titled "Cognitive Characteristics of Future Managers in the Context of Musical Education." The winners were awarded certificates, medals, and monetary prizes.
During the event, Associate Professor D. Hayrapetyan of the Chair of General Psychology was also honored with a certificate of appreciation and a medal for his long-standing scientific and teaching contributions to the field.
