On September 22, 2026, at 14:30, a two-day workshop with Lynn Meskell will begin at the YSU Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology, organized at the initiative of the Laboratory of Philosophy and Theory of History.
The workshop will be led by Professor Lynn Meskell from the University of Pennsylvania (USA), an archaeologist and anthropologist, whose research brings together archaeology, heritage studies, social and political anthropology, and postcolonial theory.
The workshop will take place:

Topics for discussion:
- Day 1: "War and Security: Heritage Conflict and the UN Council"
- Day 2: "Saving the World in the Context of Vandalism"
Participants will receive articles and source materials in advance. Reading them beforehand will contribute to more effective discussions.
