Admission Requirements
Admission to the full-time mode of study will be conducted in accordance with the requirements of the “Regulations on Admission to the Master’s Programmes of Yerevan State University (full-time and part-time modes of study)”.

Programme Objectives
The programme aims to provide students with profound and comprehensive knowledge in the field of contemporary sociological theories and methodology; enhance students’ knowledge of modern methods of sociological research; develop students’ abilities and practical skills in applying methods for analyzing social processes, social change, the internal and external causes of social transformations, the social consequences of change, and the various forms of social interaction and interdependence; strengthen students’ general professional competencies.
Within the framework of the Master’s Programme, professional internship placements will be organized according to a programme jointly developed and approved in cooperation with the academic programme supervisor.
Programme Advantages
Upon completion of the programme, graduates will be able to work with various types of academic sources and statistical reports, as well as use online information resources and electronic libraries while evaluating ongoing informational and communication processes; analyze facts and draw conclusions; creatively apply acquired knowledge and generate innovative ideas; work effectively within research teams while adhering to the norms and principles of professional ethics.
