At the invitation of the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, a delegation from YSU Faculty of International Relations participated in a series of seminars organized by Beijing Jiaotong University from June 12 to 26 of this year.
During the visit, the university representatives attended various courses led by leading Chinese experts and high-ranking officials from governmental institutions. The seminars explored opportunities to develop new avenues of cooperation with China in the field of technology, as well as to broaden cooperation in areas such as the economy, education, culture, and beyond.
In addition to the seminar sessions, the delegation visited several scientific and educational centers, leading organizations, research institutes, and sites of historical and cultural significance.
As part of the visit to Beijing, Gor Petrosyan, Deputy Dean and Head of the Office of the Faculty of International Relations, visited the Center for International and Area Studies at Tsinghua University and met with researchers Wang Qing, Qi Jin, and Wang Tao. During the meeting, the parties discussed common research interests and potential directions for educational and scientific cooperation.
YSU delegation’s visit to the People’s Republic of China served to promote further developments in the partnership, including reciprocal visits, conferences, joint projects, and the expansion of cooperation in the fields of education and research.
