Admission Requirements and Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must possess at least a complete general secondary education awarded within the three-level education system of the Republic of Armenia or an equivalent qualification.
Admission is conducted in accordance with the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Armenia No. 597-N of 26 April 2012, "On Approving the Procedure for Admission to State and Non-State Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Armenia (Bachelor's Degree Programmes) and Declaring Government Decision No. 686-N of 28 April 2011 Invalid."
Pursuant to the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Armenia No. 1521-N of 30 November 2017, applicants are required to pass the following unified entrance examinations:
Mathematics (written examination);
Armenian Language and Literature (written) or Foreign Language (written).
Full-time Bachelor's Admissions
The Admissions section of the Yerevan State University website provides comprehensive information on the University's admission process, including admission regulations, available degree programmes, admission quotas, tuition fees, application status tracking, previous years' admission score thresholds, and the latest updates to admission policies and procedures.

These communication channels are available exclusively during the official application periods and designated working days and hours.
First and Second Admission Rounds
During the first admission round (Clause 15 of the Admission Regulations), applicants must submit their online application for the unified entrance examinations and programme preferences through the www.dimord.am portal between 15 April and 10 May, inclusive (until 18:00 on 10 May).
During the second admission round (Clause 16 of the Admission Regulations), applications are accepted between 26 June and 1 July, inclusive (until 17:00 on 1 July).
Additional Admission Round
The results of the main admission competition are published on 18 July.
Applicants who have achieved a passing score in the unified entrance examinations but have not secured admission during the main competition may participate in the additional (vacant places) admission round, provided that vacant places are available (Clause 17 of the Admission Regulations).
For the additional competition, applicants must submit a new online application through dimord.am, indicating up to six study programmes across one or more higher education institutions. Applications are accepted between 20 July and 26 July, inclusive (until 18:00 on 26 July).
Applicants admitted during the main admission round are not eligible to participate in the additional competition.
The results of the additional admission round are published on 30 July.
Important Information
The results of the main admission round for Yerevan State University's full-time programmes will be published on 18 July, while the results of the additional admission round will be published on 30 July in the Bachelor's → Full-time Study subsection of the Admissions section on the official YSU website.
Applicants admitted to full-time study must submit the original copies of all required documents, including the certificate issued by the National Assessment and Testing Center confirming their examination results, to the Dean's Office of the respective faculty, institute, or center within one week from the commencement of classes.
Classes for full-time Bachelor's programmes begin on 1 September.
For applicants admitted to full-time study who are subsequently conscripted into compulsory military service, a family member must submit the required admission documents, together with official documentation confirming military conscription, to the relevant academic unit (Dean's Office) between 1 and 10 September. Upon submission, the applicant's enrolment will be deferred. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in forfeiture of the admission offer.
Required Documents
Applicants admitted to the programme must submit the following documents:
the original secondary school certificate or diploma, together with its supplement (transcript);
one recent passport-size photograph (3 × 4 cm);
the original and one photocopy of a valid identification document;
the original certificate issued by the National Assessment and Testing Center confirming the unified entrance examination results;
the original military service record book (where applicable);
additional supporting documents for applicants eligible for admission benefits or preferential treatment

YSU Admissions Committee works from April 15 to May 10 (including) from 10:00 to 17:00, on April 15 from 10:00 to 16:00, and on May 10 from 1030 to 18:00.

From June 26 to July 1 (including), the Commission works from 10:00 to 17:00.
