At the YSU Faculty of Armenian Philology, a presentation was held for the published proceedings of a conference dedicated to the eminent Armenian poet and public figure, Razmik Davoyan.
The collection brings together the materials of a conference organized in October 2025 through the joint initiative of the YSU Faculty of Armenian Philology and the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society. The conference was devoted to a comprehensive exploration of Razmik Davoyan's literary legacy and to new interpretations of his creative universe.
The book includes papers and studies addressing works from different periods of the writer's career. Many of these contributions adopt an interdisciplinary perspective, shedding light on the aesthetic characteristics of Razmik Davoyan's artistic world, the ideological and thematic layers of his writings, as well as their linguistic and stylistic particularities.
During the presentation, the Dean of the Faculty of Armenian Philology, Arshaluys Galstyan, emphasized Razmik Davoyan's significant role in Armenian literature. He underscored that such academic conferences and the publication of their proceedings contribute meaningfully to the renewed appreciation and scholarly study of the creative heritage of great writers. He also expressed gratitude to all organizations and individuals whose contributions made the publication of the collection possible.
The event was attended by lecturers and students of Yerevan State University, as well as guests from the Writers' Union of Armenia, the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society, and various universities across Armenia.
