YSU Faculty of Informatics and Applied Mathematics hosted the first phase of the national student cyber exercise pre-qualification, organized by the Information Systems Agency of Armenia in collaboration with YSU, where YSU students stood out with excellent results.
More than 30 highly motivated students participated in simulated cyber-attack scenarios, demonstrating their preparedness, analytical thinking, and keen interest in the field of cybersecurity.
YSU student Arshak Zatikyan was recognized as the winner of this phase, thanks to his exceptional technical skills and sharp problem-solving abilities.
The second phase of the pre-qualification will commence in August. Prospective participants are required to register in advance by completing the questionnaire.
Throughout the summer, all participants will continue their training on the SimSpace cyber training platform to ensure they are fully prepared to compete in the national student cyber exercises scheduled for October. The top performers from these competitions will be selected to form the national student cyber team, which will represent Armenia in international student cybersecurity competitions.
