YSU team wins the 24th RA Student Sports Games։ bouldering championship

To increase the attention of students to a healthy lifestyle, as well as to develop collegiate sports, student sports games are organized in which YSU takes an active part.

On November 30 of this year, bouldering championship of the 24th RA Student Sports Games was held at YSU, in which teams from 4 RA universities participated. YSU team (girls and boys) won the 1st place.

Suren Sepanyan, specialist in bouldering at the Chair of Physical Education and Sports is the coach of YSU team.

Teams from 5 Armenian universities participated in the tug-of-war championship held on the same day. The YSU team won the 3rd place in the competition.

The coaches of the team are Henrik Tumanyan, Professor of YSU Physical Education and Sports Chair, and Associate Professor Ashot Sargsyan.

It should be noted that on November 29, the final stage of the futsal (boys) tournament of the 24th RA Student Sports Games was held at YSU. The teams from 10 RA universities participated in the spring and autumn tournaments of the current year. The teams of YSU, Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi, Armenian-Russian University and Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport got to the final stage. The YSU team took the 3rd place in the competition.

The coach of the team is Saribek Muradyan, lecturer of the Chair of Physical Education Sports, YSU, master of sports.
