YSU Student Scientific Society opens new chapter in international cooperation
From January 24 to February 4, a delegation of the YSU Student Scientific Society (SSS), led by Karine Arakelyan, Chair of the SSS of the Faculty of International Relations, and Narek Avetyan, Head of the Foreign Relations Committee of the same faculty's SSS, visited London, United Kingdom, to establish new international partnerships.
The visit was marked by the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the YSU Student Scientific Society and the British and Irish Youth Council. The memorandum provides for bilateral cooperation in organizing and implementing large-scale academic, cultural, and civic initiatives, including joint events, conferences, and youth exchange programs.
During the visit, the delegation held a series of working and introductory meetings, including at the Parliament of the United Kingdom. Representatives of the Student Scientific Society also met with members of the Armenian community in the UK, as well as Armenian youth, to discuss prospects for future cooperation.
The visit to London and the signing of the memorandum constitute an important step not only for the Student Scientific Society but also for enhancing YSU's international standing, increasing the engagement of young scholars, and strengthening the position of the Armenian student community within the global academic landscape.
