Longstanding dedication and responsible service: Alexander Virabyan awarded certificate of appreciation
YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan presented a certificate of appreciation to Alexander Virabyan, Head of the Division of Foreign Students' Education Organization, in recognition of his many years of dedicated and effective service at the university.
Honored for his exemplary fulfillment of professional duties and impeccable performance, Alexander Virabyan has, throughout his many years of service at the YSU International Cooperation Office, significantly contributed to the university's internationalization. He has been involved in the implementation of numerous exchange programs and in organizing the education of students at foreign universities.
In his capacity as Head of the Division of Foreign Students' Education Organization, Virabyan has for many years carried out effective work in the admission of foreign citizens, the organization of preparatory courses, the coordination of issues arising during studies, and the resolution of various challenges. He has also conducted purposeful and productive activities in disseminating information and necessary materials to attract international applicants, achieving notable growth and contributing to the establishment and development of the university's academic environment.
Congratulating Alexander Virabyan, YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan noted that the university's history and achievements are shaped by individuals who, over decades, have made significant contributions through their work, responsibility, and dedication to the management and development of the institution. According to him, Virabyan's long-standing and conscientious service has made a substantial contribution to YSU's internationalization, the effective organization of work with international students, and the strengthening of the university's reputation.
Head of the YSU International Cooperation office, Alexander Markarov, reflecting on the fruitful work of one of the university's longest-serving employees and partners, emphasized that Virabyan has been working at YSU since 1969. Presenting his devoted service, Markarov also highlighted his significant contribution to the university's history, his lasting professional legacy, and his positive personal reputation.
Expressing his gratitude, Virabyan thanked the rector for recognizing his many years of service, noting that over time the university and its community have become his second family.
The ceremonial presentation of the certificate of appreciation was also attended by YSU Vice-Rector for International Relations, Development and Innovation Mikayel Hovhannisyan, as well as Scientific Secretary Mery Hovhannisyan.
Alexander Virabyan has previously been awarded the YSU Gold Medal, the university's highest internal distinction.
