YSU, Boon Scientific and Cultural Foundation sign memorandum of cooperation
YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan and Gemafin Gasparyan, Executive Director of the Boon Scientific and Cultural Foundation, signed a memorandum of cooperation to jointly implement educational, scientific and cultural programs, as well as promote university life and scientific and educational initiatives.
Valuing the partnership that has been formed, the parties emphasized the importance of long-term cooperation. They expressed confidence that joint initiatives will contribute to the development and effective implementation of the university's educational, scientific and cultural projects.
The memorandum provides for the implementation of programs aimed at deepening cooperation in the educational, scientific and cultural fields, as well as creating new opportunities through the effective use of existing resources.
As part of the cooperation, YSU and the Boon Scientific and Cultural Foundation will make joint efforts to ensure broader public coverage of university life, educational programs, scientific and educational initiatives, events and achievements. To that end, working groups will be formed to develop original thematic programs, carry out exchanges of experience, and prepare and disseminate relevant media materials on social networks, online information platforms and television.
Among YSU's strategic priorities are the continuous development of the academic environment and the modernization of educational processes. This cooperation will create additional opportunities for scientists, faculty members and students alike.
In particular, students will have the opportunity to become involved in various programs and working processes, gain practical experience, deepen their professional knowledge and develop their abilities and skills, thereby acquiring valuable professional experience.
The two seasons of the MetaMolor project were implemented as a joint initiative of YSU and the Boon Scientific and Cultural Foundation. MetaMolor is a platform where YSU lecturers discuss, define and reinterpret current realities in the "post-truth era," when the boundaries between fact and interpretation, reality and perception are not clear. MetaMolor invites audiences to look at the world from a meta-perspective, combining different disciplines to jointly analyze the impact of technological progress in the digital age on the value system of individuals and society.
