Newly discovered archival documents reveal untold chapters of YSU Library's history Research conducted at the National Archives of Armenia has uncovered new documents that shed fresh light on the century-long history of Yerevan State University Library. The YSU Sarkis and Marie Izmirlian Library has launched an initiative to bring to light not only statistical data, figures and facts, but also lesser-known layers of the library's century-long history through human stories and values. Conceived by Library Director Avetik Mejlumyan and supported by the university leadership, the archival research is ultimately intended to lead to the creation of a permanent exhibition hall presenting the library's history.

Armenia's foreign policy and strategic communication in focus at summer school A three-day summer school titled "Armenia's Foreign Policy and Strategic Communication" was held in Aghveran, bringing together more than 50 students and young researchers from universities and research institutes across Armenia. "GeoMap-Camp: Mapping Syunik's Future" summer camp creates new platform for university-school-employer cooperation The "GeoMap-Camp: Mapping Syunik's Future" educational summer camp officially launched in Kapan, Syunik Province, through cooperation between the YSU Faculty of Geography and Geology and Kapan Mining and Processing Company. The project brings together industry professionals and school students to create an innovative platform, strengthen school-university-employer cooperation, contribute to the sustainable development of Syunik Province and help build professional capacity.
YSU to coordinate Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education project Yerevan State University has once again been entrusted with coordinating a project under the European Union's Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) action — the new MONTESQ project. Bringing together partners from Armenia, Mongolia and European countries, the initiative will help modernize governance, integrity and anti-corruption education in higher education in Armenia and Mongolia by developing a new generation of interdisciplinary academic programs and expanding international academic cooperation.
Armenia's experience in international spotlight: YSU hosts Tunisian partners Yerevan State University hosted partners from the Armenian and Tunisian offices of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), as well as representatives of Tunisia's Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy and the Tunisian Women's Network for Energy Transition initiative. The meeting focused on YSU's experience in promoting the participation of women and girls in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) as part of the global Feminism in Action for Structural Transformation (FAST) program, as well as opportunities for exchanging experience between the two countries.
