How can scientific research, innovative ideas and collaboration among universities contribute to biodiversity conservation?
Yerevan State University (YSU) is bringing together scientists, researchers, students and international partners to address this question through its participation in the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), taking place in Yerevan from October 19 to 30.
Established at YSU's initiative, the Armenian University Coalition for Biodiversity (AUCB) brings together the scientific and educational resources of 15 universities. In COP17's Green Zone, the universities will showcase their research, innovative solutions and nature conservation initiatives, inviting visitors to explore biodiversity and the potential of science.
From international summits and scientific discussions to an exhibition built around the theme "Air, Soil, Water," YSU's participation brings together knowledge, expertise and collaboration to promote joint action on biodiversity conservation.
YSU's participation in COP17 brings together knowledge, expertise and collaboration in support of biodiversity conservation. International events, joint university initiatives and the "Air, Soil, Water" exhibition create new opportunities for scientific dialogue, partnerships and collaborative solutions.
