Yerevan State University invites applications from specialists with data-driven thinking, analytical skills, and an interest in strategic processes to join the team of the YSU Center for Strategic Planning.

Position Purpose
To ensure the systematic implementation of monitoring and evaluation of YSU strategic programs and annual action plans, including data collection, analysis, and presentation of results, in order to support the university's strategic management and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the collection, processing, and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data required for strategic planning,
In cooperation with relevant YSU units, contribute to the development and revision of the university's strategic documents (communication strategy, fundraising strategy, strategic programs and action plans, etc.),
Develop, test, implement, and improve monitoring and evaluation tools, indicators, and data collection procedures,
Prepare analytical reports, summaries, and recommendations,
Conduct literature reviews, develop questionnaires, analyze data, and organize interviews and focus groups to identify the needs of the university community and challenges affecting the implementation of strategic programs,
When necessary, participate in the development, organization, and implementation of capacity-building programs, as well as provide consultation to YSU units on improving monitoring and evaluation processes.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Higher education (a master's degree is preferred) in sociology, public policy, management, economics, statistics, education management, or related fields,
At least one year of work experience in the field of monitoring and evaluation,
Experience in data collection and analysis,
Proficiency in using computer and digital tools necessary for data collection, analysis, and presentation,
Excellent command of Armenian and good command of English,
Knowledge of the higher education sector (work experience in the field will be considered an advantage),
Strong analytical thinking and a structured, systematic approach to problem-solving,
Strong teamwork and effective communication skills.
