The YSU Faculty of Law will hold a course on "Professional Ethics for Healthcare Workers" from March 2 to 5, 2026, designed specifically for healthcare professionals.
The course will cover:
Ethical duties of healthcare professionals
Interactions among healthcare professionals and the rules of professional ethics in the healthcare provider–patient relationship
Fundamental rights and responsibilities of healthcare professionals and patients
Confidential medical information and rules for its protection
Functioning of the commission that examines violations of professional ethics
Procedures for obtaining informed consent for medical interventions
Lectures will be delivered by Professor Armen Haykyants, Head of the Chair of Civil Law at the YSU Faculty of Law, and Shushanik Ghukasyan, assistant at the same chair.
All participants will receive 10 theoretical credits upon completion of the course.
