A competition is announced for the development of two new courses: "Fundamentals of Information Technology Applications" (2 credits) for bachelor's programs and "Information Technology (IT) in the Professional Field " (3 credits) for master's programs.
In addition to covering the fundamentals of information technology, the course content should incorporate elements of artificial intelligence education and align with current labor market requirements.
The newly developed courses will replace those that were created and delivered in previous academic years.
To participate in the competition, applicants must submit their application package to education@ysu.am by March 25 of this year. The submission package should include:
A report from the head of the relevant academic unit supporting participation in the competition.
An application letter from the head of the professional team that developed the course.
A description of the proposed course.
The proposed course syllabus.
Applications will be evaluated by a specialized committee. Courses recognized as the best will be shared with all academic units of Yerevan State University for inclusion in the 2026–2027 academic year curricula (the corresponding credit hours will be assigned to the chair that developed the course).
