The YSU American Studies Center announces that in the 2026–2027 academic year, the "American Studies" master's program with specialization in "International Relations" will be offered.
The program has been developed and introduced in cooperation with long-term partner Arizona State University and with financial support from the U.S. Embassy in Armenia.
The core courses offered within the "American Studies" program by the American Studies Center focus on the following areas:
U.S. foreign policy
The U.S. Constitution and judicial system
Applied policy analysis and good governance
U.S. strategic interests in the Middle East and neighboring regions
U.S. energy policy and environment
U.S. government and public policy
Political economy, business, and U.S. corporations
American society, regional politics, and the Armenian diaspora in the United States
Global governance and negotiation techniques
Intergovernmental relations
