The Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) has announced a call for applications for the 2027 edition of the La Haye Inter-University Debate Competition. The competition is organized by the Corax Foundation in partnership with Francophone university organizations.
The international competition, which will bring together 128 judges from 38 countries, brings university students from around the world together in French, giving them the opportunity to develop their public speaking, argumentation, critical thinking and teamwork skills.
The competition offers participants the opportunity to:
develop academic and professional skills,
debate in French in an international university environment,
build international connections,
represent their university on an international platform.
The final rounds of the competition will be held in June 2027.
The competition will be conducted primarily online.
